Le couronnement de notre statue de Notre-Dame de Fatima - The Crowning of our statue of Our Lady of Fatima

Il y a deux ans, le jour de la fête de Notre Dame de Fatima, notre monastère reçu soudainement une troublante notoriété et publicité due à l’imprudence et à l’indiscrétion de certains ecclésiastiques. Ce jour là nous avons placé notre famille monastique sous la protection particulière de Notre Dame de Fatima.

Two years ago, on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, our monastery received unwanted and unsettling publicity because of the imprudence and indiscretion of certain ecclesiastics. On that day occasion we entrusted our monastic family to the protection of Our Lady of Fatima.

En remerciement de son intercession nous avons pu, l’année dernière, bénir cette statue de Notre Dame de Fatima qui se trouve habituellement dans le réfectoire du monastère. Grâce à un don conséquent d’un ami du monastère, nous sommes désormais en mesure de lui offrir cette couronne. En faisant ce geste d’offrande, nous voulons renouveler notre profonde gratitude envers Notre Dame pour son intercession et sa protection maternelle.

In thanksgiving for her intercession we were able, last year to bless this statue of Our Lady of Fatima, which is habitually located in the monastic refectory. Through the very generous benefaction of a friend of the monastery we are now able to offer her this crown. In so doing we give renewed thanks to Our Blessed Lady for her intercession and maternal protection.
